LandAid Celebrates a Right Royal Run!

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the annual LandAid Fun Run, sponsored by GVA Grimley yesterday evening (24 June).

As usual the Fun Run was a great success and we had over 400 enthusiastic members of the property industry taking part in the 5K around Battersea Park.  Even the Queen decided to show her support by cheering our runners over the line!  That is Queen Boudicca and her ICENI tribe.  New water brand, ICENI kindly sponsored the water and kept everybody refreshed and hydrated.

Well done to Jeff Pyrah (Scott Brownrigg) who was the fastest male (again!) with a very impressive time of 17.00.  He saw of Mark Crane (Drivers Jonas) in second place and Nathan Pask (GVA Grimley) in third place.

Samantha Murphy (Scott Brownrigg) was the first female over the line in 20.46 beating her fellow rivals, Alexa Phoenix (Charles Russell) in second place and Evelyn Mullins (Capital and Regional) in third place.

Drivers Jonas walked away with the Surveyor’s trophy, Charles Russell took the Legal trophy and CLS Holdings won the Developer’s trophy.

Most importantly the Best Fancy Dress prize was won by Andy Brunden of Grosvenor who ran the whole way in a white rabbit costume.

Sponsorship
We ask competitors to raise a minimum of £30 in sponsorship, LandAid relies on all of the runners honouring this commitment.  Sponsorship can be collected in two ways; either with paper sponsorship forms or through JustGiving the online fundraising site.  Paper sponsorship forms will be available to download from here soon.
