SMALL GRANTS SCHEME AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Land Aid’s mission is to support homeless people by raising funds to help:
- provide accommodation
- assist with refurbishment projects
- run training and life skills programmes
- give start-up funding for schemes that might not otherwise get off the ground
In 2007/08 Land Aid will distribute up to £35,000 to appropriate specialist agencies. Applications are invited for awards ranging from £5000-£35,000. The Trustees will consider whether to award several grants of different sizes or a single grant for the full amount available for an exceptional project.
Applications should be sent in writing setting out the aims, objectives, outputs and outcomes of the project in no more than 500 words.
Exclusions: No grants to individuals.
Application schedule: Applications should be submitted between 1 December 2007 and 31 January 2008. A decision on grant allocation will be made by the Policy & Grants Committee by the end of March 2007. Before reaching a decision to fund the Committee and/or its representatives may wish to visit the project/organisation.
