LandAid Poker Night a great success |

The biannual LandAid Poker Night at the Dorchester Hotel took place on February 22 with nearly 400 budding Cincinnatti Kids lining up against, amongst others, the current Poker World Champion and a former six times World Snooker Champion (who proved that it's not only balls he knows how to pocket).
Hosted by Barry Hearn (of Matchroom and Orient fame) and compered by the incomparable Mad Marty, competition was fierce. The first, and probably biggest shock, came when the current World Champion, Kenna James, was knocked out early by an impertinent young graduate from King Sturge.
Steve Davis also failed to make the cut, as did Ed Giddings and Leilani Dowding. Hearn managed to make it to the final table, but it was Robert "Fingers" Duncan, research analyst at JP Morgan Cazenove, who finally ran out the winner and won the LandAid Poker Trophy.
