Support LandAid at MIPIM Print E-mail

Support LandAid at MIPIMAs you make your final preparations for this year’s MIPIM where the property industry will once again meet to celebrate its many achievements and explore the opportunities ahead, we are inviting all UK participants to help support and publicise LandAid while in Cannes.

Specifically, we are inviting each of you to display a roundel on your stand or fly a flag from your yacht to show support for LandAid’s important work as the charity of the UK property sector.  We can also provide you with an electronic copy of the roundel if preferred or in addition to the above.  We are asking each participating organisation to make a minimum donation of £500 to mark this association.  You will also receive a complimentary supply of four LandAid pin badges.

The current main focus of LandAid’s work is a major homelessness initiative ‘Foundations for Life’ in partnership with Centrepoint. The initiative aims to give the young homeless fresh hope in turning their lives around, by providing them with challenging personal development programmes, giving access to meaningful training opportunities and work experience, and offering ongoing expert support.

A further key element is to deliver these services in a stimulating environment. The initial challenge has been to raise funds to create new dedicated learning facilities at established Centrepoint sites.  The success of our fundraising efforts, which have already raised more than £750,000 towards our target of £4million over 4 years, means that work on the first three projects will start on site this month, with another five currently in the planning stage.  At any one time over 100 young homeless people will, for example, benefit from the extended facilities at Bruce House in Covent Garden.

We are most encouraged by the response that we have received in the year since ‘Foundations for Life’ was launched.  As we build on the progress to date, we will greatly appreciate your support in helping to publicise LandAid at MIPIM.  Confirmation of your support should be sent by email to Annette Sanders, our Events and Communications Manager ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
