The Property Race Day, now in its eighth year, has quickly established itself as a key date in the property calendar, offering the opportunity to network while fundraising money for a number of charities, including LandAid.
To date Property Race Day has raised over £1 million for a number of charities. The event takes place at the world famous Ascot Racecourse in the Pavilion and includes a champagne reception, seven races, a live and silent auction.
In 2013, Property Race Day raised a phenomenal £90,000 for LandAid in support of its charity projects. This money funded a number of projects including Jamie’s Farm, Motiv8 and Stepney Bank Stables. The specific project this money funded at Stepney Bank Stables, was to convert an old groom’s cottage into a learning centre where out of school training is provided to disadvantaged young people in an informal, comfortable but disciplined environment.
We are delighted that Property Race Day has confirmed its ongoing support for LandAid for 2014-2016 and look forward to putting their vital fundraising to good use!
