Chairman
Robin Broadhurst has spent most of his career in private practice as a Chartered Surveyor specialising in commercial property investment and development. He joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1969, where he became a Partner in 1973, Managing Partner of the English Business in the 80’s and International Chairman in 1993. Following the merger with La Salle Partners in 1999 to form Jones Lang LaSalle, he became European Chairman.
Robin retired from the firm in December 2003 and is now involved in a number of business areas including being a consultant to Sir Robert McAlpine (where he is based), a senior advisor to Credit Suisse and a member of the Prince's Council to the Duchy of Cornwall. He is the Chairman of Grainger plc and Sableknight Ltd and a non executive director of Grosvenor, Invista Investment Manager plc and the British Library. |

Michael Slade is Chief Executive of Helical Bar plc, a UK-listed property development and investment company, one of the best performing quoted property stocks.
Michael is married with three children and is well known for his enthusiasm for yachting and launched 'Leopard', a 100-foot swing-keel ocean racer, in June 2007, in which he won the Rolex Fastnet Race. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the many sports enjoyed by his family and is heavily involved in raising funds for charity.
Mike is also Chairman of the Property Forum, a Fellow of the College of Estate Management, Chairman of the Wellington College Campaign, a trustee of both Purley Park and Sherborne School Foundation and Vice Admiral of the Marie Rose Trust

Chairman - Fundraising Committee
Rob Bould is Chief Executive of GVA and has been with the practice since 1976. He has a detailed understanding of the commercial property investment market and a wide range of experience, including advising institutional and property company investors on the acquisition and disposal of investment property, development consultancy, limited partnerships and disposing of public sector assets.
As a member of the Investment Committee of the Palmer GVA Fund, he has extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategy from the client perspective. He is also an active member of the GVA Worldwide Investment practice group and has wide-ranging experience in working with overseas investors from Ireland, Germany, the USA and the Middle East.
Rob is Past Chairman of the Investment Property Forum, a member of the RICS Commercial Property Market Forum, and is Master of the Chartered Surveyors Livery Company.
His hobbies are shooting and skiing and he is actively involved in the property industry’s charity, LandAid, of which he is a Trustee.

Lynette Lackey is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in real estate finance, corporate reporting and financial management. Lynette is a Director of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the UK Chair Elect for the National Association of Women in Property.
Lynette spent ten years as a Partner with one of the large accountancy firms where she specialised in international real estate transactions before joining the Greenside Real Estate Solutions team, working with financial institutions to resolve their problem property portfolios. She is also a Partner in a property management and venture capital consultancy.

Chairman - Grants Committee
Since 1993, Jeremy Newsum has been Executive Trustee of the Grosvenor Estate, which comprises all of the business and private interests of the Grosvenor Family. From 1989 to end June 2008 he was also Group Chief Executive of Grosvenor, the real estate development and investment company with interests in Central London, elsewhere in the UK, Continental Europe, South East Asia, North America and Australia. The Group operates in all sectors of the property market and manages total assets of US$22bn.
He is Chairman of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the Council of Imperial College, London and the Advisory Board to the Land Economy Department at University of Cambridge. He has been a member of the Board of Advisors to the Mayor of London on the Olympic 2012 Legacy. He was President of the British Property Federation for the year 2001/2002. Jeremy was a member of the Assets Committee of the Church Commissioners from 1993 until December 2000 and a Director of the French property company, Société Foncière Lyonnaise, from 1997 – 2002. |
Robert Noel, aged 46, was educated at Marlborough College and Reading University. From 1992 to 2002, he was a Director of Nelson Bakewell Ltd, the property services group. He joined Great Portland Estates plc in June 2002 and was appointed to the Board in August 2002. He was appointed to the Board of Land Securities Group PLC in January 2010 and heads its London business.
Robert is currently Chairman of the Westminster Property Association, a Director of The New West End Company and a Trustee and Director of LandAid. He is married with three children and lives in central London and Essex. |

Liz Peace, CBE |

Liz Peace began her career as a civil servant with the Ministry of Defence and later became a key player in the team that set up the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency.
In 2002 Liz became Chief Executive of the British Property Federation and has since managed to change the Government’s perception of the commercial property industry, to establish it as a key voice in policy debate, to dissuade the Government from legislating on commercial leases, to win innumerable changes to planning and tax legislation and, working as part of a pan-industry alliance, to persuade the Government to introduce Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Most recently Liz played a key role in campaigning for the abandonment of Planning Gain Supplement. Liz was awarded a CBE in the 2008 New Year Honours list for services to the property industry.

Tim Roberts joined British Land in 1997, was appointed to the Executive Committee in August 2005 and elected as an executive director in July 2006. At British Land he was appointed Joint Head of Asset Management in 2002 with responsibilities including investment sales and purchases. He has responsibility for the Office sector of the Company’s portfolio. Before joining British Land he was a partner at Drivers Jonas, in the Investment Agency team. |

David is a Real Estate lawyer with international law firm Pinsent Masons. David has some 36 years of experience in advising UK and global Real Estate investors, developers and End Users. David joined Pinsent Masons in spring 2011, he was formerly Head of Real Estate at Berwin Leighton Paisner, a senior consultant at Herbert Smith and Joint Global Co-Chair of the Real Estate Group at DLA Piper.
