It may be too early to start thinking about autumn when summer has barely begun, but one date to get in your calendar early is certainly Proptoberfest 2019, which returns to London’s Hawker House on Thursday 3 October 2019.
Created by independent, family-run event management business Completely Events, Proptoberfest returns for its fourth year to once again support LandAid, raising funds to end youth homelessness.
This is no ordinary networking event’
For those not familiar with the Oktoberfest-inspired evening, Proptoberfest welcomes the property industry annually to the warehouse venue in London for an evening of good food, flowing drink, networking and, best of all, fundraising for Landaid. Proptoberfest has an abundance of Bavarian beer, lederhosen and an unbeatable atmosphere.
What to expect
Aside from being an amazing evening of food, drink and entertainment, Proptoberfest is also a fantastic networking opportunity, with a broad range of companies in attendance. Last year saw attendees from companies like Crest Nicholson Regeneration, Cundall, Forsters, Lavastar, Legal & Contingency, McMullen Wilson, Montagu Evans, Quadrant Estates, SEGRO and many more. This year, companies that have already booked a table include CLS, Churchill Retirement Living, Rectory Homes Limited, Craigewan Consulting Limited, Tuffin Ferraby Taylor LLP, Russell Cooke and McDonald’s.
Hawker House is no stranger to mind-blowing street food, having hosted a whole range of delicious street food among its halls over the years, and Proptoberfest will be no different in this respect. Expect some enticing concoctions with a German twist, so you can really immerse yourself in the Oktberfest festival spirit.
Raising money to end youth homelessness
Over the last three years, Proptoberfest has raised over £15,000 for LandAid, every penny of which is helping to end youth homelessness. With this year’s event set to be bigger than ever, the Completely Events team is looking forward to raising more money than ever and continuing to unite the property industry to help support this amazing cause.
