Charity Challenges - LandAid – The property industry charity

If you would like to do something challenging to raise money for LandAid, why don't you take part in an overseas trek? We are partnered with CharityChallenge who are a responsible travel company, they ensure the host countries benefit directly from the challenges by employing local people so that the money goes back into the community.

Through CharityChallenge you can raise money for LandAid by taking part in challenges in amazing destinations. It's a chance to meet new people and experience exotic cultures. There are challenges in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas.

The activities available are as varied as the locations, you can push yourself to the limit with mountain climbing, white water rafting, trekking cycling, horse riding or kayaking. CharityChallenge grade their challenges according to levels of fitness so you don't need to be an Olympic athlete to take part although they are a good excuse to get fit.

Most importantly CharityChallenge ensures that the host countries benefit directly from their challenges. They employ people from local communities and encourage environmental responsibility.

Funding Options

Self Funder

You personally cover the cost of the challenge (this includes a £100 donation to LandAid), and raise as much sponsorship as you can. LandAid will receive the £100 and every penny in sponsorship thereafter.

The full cost is made up of the deposit which is due at the time of booking and final balance which is due ten weeks before departure.

Minimum Sponsorship

You pay your deposit when booking the challenge and pledge to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship for LandAid. You will need to send the sponsorship to us as you raise it.

At lease 80% of the minimum sponsorship required must be sent to us ten weeks before departure and the remaining 20% within four week of completing the challenge.

If you have raised the necessary funds LandAid will pay the balance of the expedition costs.
