A grant may only be used for the specific purpose(s) outlined in the grant application, as approved by LandAid. 2. If any material change to the funded project (or programme) is proposed, either before or during implementation, this should be notified immediately to LandAid and written approval obtained for any agreed variations. Where such agreement is not obtained, LandAid reserves the right to suspend any future payments and to require repayment of any monies not used for the designated purpose(s). 3. The grant must be spent within a reasonable period of time, normally six months from the formal notification of grant unless this period is extended with the prior agreement of LandAid. On completion of the project any unspent grant shall be returned to LandAid without delay. 4. LandAid’s grant must be given appropriate acknowledgement in publicity materials and other documentation relating to the project. This should include where appropriate a suitable credit and/or listing in the organisation’s Annual Report and Financial Statements. 5. In accepting the grant from LandAid, the organisation agrees to LandAid using the name of the organisation and project in its own publicity materials and on its website. Where confidentiality is a particular issue, the organisation should advise LandAid of this at the time of grant. 6. The organisation shall keep LandAid and its appointed representative advised of the project’s progress and shall respond in a timely manner to reasonable requests for information and assistance, including arranging visits and providing photo opportunities. A proper evaluation of the project should be made by the organisation and a report submitted to LandAid. 7. Proper accounts for the organisation and the project shall be kept and be made available for inspection on reasonable notice. A copy of the audited or independently examined accounts of the organisation for the year(s) covering the grant award shall be sent to LandAid within six months of the end of the relevant financial year(s). 8. LandAid reserves the right to hold back payment of the grant or to require repayment of the grant, in whole or in part, if the organisation fails to adhere to these terms and conditions or if it is subsequently discovered that the application and/or supporting documentation gave false or misleading information. |
