LandAid is very grateful for the support it receives from its Industry Patrons. These are property industry associations that support and collaborate with LandAid in a range of ways for example by:

•    Promoting LandAid’s work and activities to their members

ARAccessible Retail is the organisation representing the interests of the out of town retail property sector. It has been established for more than 15 years and currently has some 950 members comprising Retailers, Landlords, Investors, Agents and Advisors involved in the sub sector. As one voice for retail warehouse and superstore property, our mission is to promote the sector and to act in the best interests of our membership. The key areas AR do this in are lobbying government, investing in research, providing professional development and support and engineering dialogue & communication. In addition, AR organises and runs social networking opportunities throughout the year and raises money for charity.

The Association of Property BankersThe Association of Property Bankers were founded in 1991 and now have over 350 members representing over 80 lending organisations.

On a day to day basis, the APB is managed by a Board of annually elected members, chaired by a President and aims to:

•    promote the interests of property bankers
•    foster a better understanding of property finance within the banking and property sectors
•    provide a recognised body as a forum for discussions between lenders and other property industry institutions
•    keep our members up to date with events in the market
•    provide relevant networking opportunities

BCSCThe British Council for Shopping Centres (BCSC) represents the retail property industry in all shopping formats (high street, shopping centre, retail parks) and all locations (in town, edge of town, out of town). Relevant to public sector and private sector (retail and property) members, it combines a valuable internal forum with an authoritative and collective voice on behalf of its members. Their purpose is to foster a professional, socially responsible and progressive retail property industry.

The BCSC have kindly provided LandAid with a stand at the BCSC Conference and Exhibition takinng place in Manchester between 19 and 21 September.

British Property Federation - LandAid Industry PatronThe British Property Federation represent the interests of all those involved in property ownership and investment. They aim to create the conditions in which the property industry can grow and thrive, for the benefit of their members and of the economy as a whole. They do this by lobbying the government and other bodies on things like finance, tax, planning, sustainability and housing policy.

The British Property Federation kindly provides LandAid with office accommodation.

CoreNetThe CoreNet Global UK Chapter aims to represent the business and public sector occupier and to unify the profession of Corporate Real Estate through a multi disciplinary approach to education, networking, research and communication.

The UK Chapter is one of 50 locally-based chapters worldwide binding the network of 7,000 members and serving as a forum for members to meet and hear experts on topics affecting the industry.

At their Annual Awards Dinner in 2010 they raised £4,000 for LandAid and will be supporting us again in 2011.

Movers & Shakers - LandAid Industry PatronMovers & Shakers is a leading property networking organisation with high profile members and guest speakers. They run a programme of business breakfasts throughout the year which regularly attract 500 attendees.

In 2009 and 2010 they made LandAid the beneficiary of their Christmas Dinner held at the Dorchester. Through raffles and other fundraising on the night both events have raised a total of £43,000.

PMA LogoThe Property Managers Association was founded in 1975 to represent the interests of retail organisations by enabling their respective property professionals to work together to their mutual benefit. The membership now includes around 120 retailers from big High Street multiples through to smaller regional and local multiples.

The role of the PMA is to raise and maintain standards of estate management within the retail industry and to ensure that occupational costs remain affordable and achieve maximum value for money. This is delivered through providing a framework for communication between property managers, an effective education programme and helping to influence landlords, developers and other key industry bodies- BPF, BCSC, BRC, RICS etc

An executive committee of elected members manage the association supported by a number of specialist sub-groups.

Profile Property NetworkProfile is a networking organisation and information exchange for professionals involved in property marketing and PR. It's aimed primarily at in-house and consultancy marketing/PR specialists and other professionals working with developers, investors, property agents, lawyers, architects, information providers and management consultants.

Profile have made LandAid the beneficiary of their 'Face-to-Face' series of events where influential figures from the property industry are interviewed by Damian Wild, Editor of Estates Gazette.

SAS Logo_smallThe Shop Agents Society has been running for more than 25 years and is dedicated to sharing knowledge and building longstanding relationships within the industry.

The 715 members of the Shop Agents Society are practicing retail agents from commercial property practices all over the UK. They are involved on a day to day basis with lettings, sales, acquisitions, valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals of properties on High Streets and in Shopping Centres all over the country and offer a great depth of experience and knowledge about shop property in all its facets. The Society was formed to provide the opportunity for those members to share information and to meet to make useful contacts and we hope friends on a regular basis for social, educational or business purposes and to generally to promote the business of shop agency throughout the UK.

Socialable SurveyorsSociable Surveyors is the only established all-expenses paid, global internship scheme in the property industry. Each year they offer graduates the chance to win one of thirty incredible internships in Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Edinburgh and London with companies such as Savills, Knight Frank and CBRE.

The Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors - LandAid Industry PatronThe Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors is a Livery Company of the City of London established in 1977 for Chartered Surveyors and property professionals. 

They hold a range of fundraising events throughout the year such as their classical music concert at Christchurch, Spitalfields to support their charitable objectives. These include sponsoring a number of central London schools and supporting the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust which helps students to train as property professionals, leading to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
