Dickon Broadhust completes cycle to Cape Town | Print |  E-mail
Dickon Broadhurst has finished his 8,000 mile bike ride from Cairo to Cape Town in aid of LandAid and Footballs for Fun. The ex Jones Lang La Salle surveyor has spent the last five months cycling through nine African countries.

It was a tough journey across deserts, up and down ravines, through dodgy border crossings in sweltering temperatures for hours on end. Dickon made it to the first two England World Cup games but by the time he arrived in Cape Town England had been knocked out! You can still show your support by sponsoring him.
