Project: Foundations for Life

Foundation Partner SEGRO was the sole funder of a specialist learning centre for homeless young people in Birmingham which was launched in October 2010. The new Foundations for Life centre has extended a supported accommodation facility run by local charity St Basils.
Young people living there and those from the surrounding area now have a communal learning space where they can study and develop essential life skills.
Funding for the project was met by a three year commitment totalling £120,000 from SEGRO who also provided free project management to help make sure that the project was delivered on time and on budget.
