The Astell Foundation runs a rent deposit scheme that helps homeless people access private rented accommodation. LandAid’s grant will enable them to re-house 20 homeless people over a 15 month period by providing home starter packs that include basic essentials such as toiletries, towels and bedding. The improvement fund helps make the rented accommodation more homely increasing the likelihood the tenancy will be successful.
