Paul joined LandAid in 2015 having worked in a wide range of charities and not for profit organisations over a 25 year period. He works with our Board of Trustees to ensure LandAid has a clear strategy and is equipped to deliver that strategy. He leads a small leadership team, who in turn lead our larger - but still small - and outstanding team. He brings a passionate determination to do everything we can to end youth homelessness across the UK, a commitment to making LandAid a great partner to work with, and a great employer to work for. He is always impressed by the best that the property industry can achieve, and sees huge potential in its companies and staff working together to achieve social change.

Marisa is our Head of Finance. She works with the Finance and Audit Committee to ensure that LandAid’s finance processes remain robust, efficient and transparent. Every quarter, it is Marisa who enables our Grants Team to award life-changing Grants to our charity partners. She guides the rest of the LandAid team to ensure that our income is coded correctly, and finance processes are followed. Marisa is a member of LandAid’s Leadership Team and manages our Finance Assistant.
Before working for LandAid, Marisa was Finance Manager for Muscular Dystrophy UK for seven years.
Sean is our Head Of Programmes & Impact. After twelve years of working at the Big Lottery Fund in a number of managerial roles, Sean is now excited to lead on the development of LandAid’s grant-making and professional advice service. He’s keen to work collaboratively to explore innovative ways of demonstrating LandAid’s considerable impact.
At the Big Lottery Fund, Sean headed up the delivery of the Local Sustainability Fund and was drawn to the difference that meaningful professional advice can make within the voluntary sector. For a while, he headed up the Fund’s homelessness policy work and was struck by the opportunities to solve a social travesty such as this.
As a trustee at the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation, he helped to oversee a transition towards a new form of grant-making. He then developed his volunteering and trustee experience when helping to design and deliver the grant programme of the Children’s Health Fund.
Paul heads up the Events Team and is responsible for the LandAid 10K and the Sleepout for LandAid, as well as supporting the team with our other events Steptober and the Ambassador Challenge. The Events Team also supports our many partners with their fundraising events, by making sure they have the materials and resources needed to be a success.
Previously, Paul has worked in fundraising at Loughborough Students Union, St Mungo’s and the British Lung Foundation.
