Depaul is currently working with 1,000 young people affected by homelessness. It is having to adapt to ensure it meets government guidelines, whilst most importantly keeping its young people mentally and physically well. Over 60% of its young people are already struggling with mental health challenges.
LandAid’s £10,000 grant will go cover staff costs and support young people’s mental health and wellbeing during this challenging time.
Depaul supports over 3,000 people each year with around 1,000 of these living in their accommodation with a team of support staff on hand or via outreach.
