Construction Rocks 2013

Annual construction industry battle of the bands

Thursday, October 10, 2013 - 18:00 The Vaults, Waterloo, London

Construction Rocks, the premier annual rock event of the construction industry took place once again on 10 October 2013.

In a grand finale to LandAid Day 2013, otherwise respectable members of the construction community demonstrated their metal by taking to the stage to wow us with their talent and nerve.

Passiv Attack, representing Levitt Bernstein, were crowned the overall winners beating off stiff competition. The Cats, representing Catalyst Housing took the prize as best new band and Mr Meaner, from Cluttons LLP, won the trophy for best fundraisers.

LandAid was the main beneficiary of the event, receiving over £8,500 - a superb total. Thanks to all who made it possible.

If you work in the construction industry and fancy your chances in next year's battle then Construction Rocks would like to hear from you.  Contact them via And if you can't compete you needn't feel left out.  There are opportunities for sponsorship, donors of raffle prizes will be warmly welcomed and there may also be tickets for sale.

Big thanks to:

This fantastic finale to LandAid Day was made possible by the bands, fans and the wonderful organisers – in particular Bill Price (WSP), Nigel Fraser (West One Consulting), Monica Bosworth and Paul Nicholson (CPN Architects).
