LandAid has a long standing relationship with a number of homelessness charities. One of these is Centrepoint, who provide a safe place to live for more than 1,000 young people every year in London and the north east of England.
From 2007 to 2012, LandAid committed over £1.4m in grants for a unique series of projects planned in partnership between Centrepoint and LandAid - the Foundations for Life programme. This programme oversaw the renovation of all Centrepoint’s learning facilities and services, and developed a network of similar services across its centres in London and Sunderland. Most recently, we provided a grant of £50,000 in 2011/12 to renovate Centrepoint’s Ealing centre.

Charity visits are a great way for LandAid supporters to see first hand the fantastic work our charity partners do, and the lasting impact their generosity can have. Visits normally take 1-2 hours and are completely free to attend.
