LandAid Charity Visit: Newcastle YMCA

Monday, February 15, 2016 - 14:00 Newcastle

In 2013 and 2014, LandAid awarded two grants, totaling £100,000 to fund the refurbishment and extension of Newcastle YMCA’s two buildings on Welbeck Road, Walker to support the expansion of the charity’s award-winning Alternative Education Programme.

The YMCA provides unconditional support to young people. Their services motivate, challenge and inspire young people to achieve their potential. Working relationships are forged with young people to provide support in improving employability, educational attainment, health and wellbeing and support to overcome crisis situations (such as financial hardship, homelessness and domestic violence).

Join our charity visit on Monday 15 February 2016 14:00-15:00 by emailing Elise Austin today.

Charity visits are a great way for LandAid supporters to see first hand the fantastic work our charity partners do, and the lasting impact their generosity can have. Visits normally take 1-2 hours and are completely free to attend.
