Partner since: 2005
Amount raised in 2018-19: £60,243.89
Grosvenor’s partnership with LandAid began in 2005, and in the period since then the company has raised invaluable funds to help end youth homelessness.
As well as making an annual corporate donation of £20,000, Grosvenor employees have always been among the most active to participants in our events; the company had 16 participants in the first ever Steptober challenge, as well as 25 runners in the most recent LandAid 10K. The company also signed up to LandAid’s first Regular Individual Giving campaign, seeing its employees donating monthly to LandAid.
The company’s Chief Executive, Craig McWilliam, was an event patron in the first ever SleepOut for LandAid House, which raised £269,000 towards renovating the City YMCA hostel as part of the LandAid House project. Grosvenor also sponsored LandAid’s 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner, which raised £266,000 to end youth homelessness.
Craig McWilliam, Chief Executive of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: ‘LandAid’s inspiring work should encourage us all in the property sector to give more. Youth homelessness can be tackled, lives can be transformed, and opportunities can come alive with coordinated effort. By demonstrating their commitment to LandAid’s most recent campaign, property leaders can join forces with a common purpose.’
