In light of COVID-19, HARP has had to adapt its services to ensure it continues supporting their young people. HARP has placed approximately 90 rough sleepers into temporary accommodation whilst having to close its day centre.
LandAid’s £10,000 will go to emergency grants for 70 young people HARP supports.
This £5,352 phase two grant will part-fund the installation of Wi-Fi in five properties which housing 71 residents aged 18-25. This will enable the team to improve engagement since, due to lockdown conditions, they are currently completing support meetings and interactions over the phone.
HARP works to enable people to move towards independent living, offering a comprehensive service with a range of emergency and longer term supported housing together with training, support and meaningful activities.
