For the 23rd year running, 760 property heroes pounded the paths of Regent’s Park in the annual LandAid 10K sponsored by Evans Randall Investors.
Spurred on by the move back to Regent’s park and not put off by the rain, hundreds of runners competed against each other and battled to beat their own personal bests.
In the women’s 10K race Liana Boholtan crossed the line first in a time of 36:43 and in the men’s 10K race Michael Wright won the men’s event in 31:12. The fastest 5K runner this year was Greg Snow of CLS Holdings, who completed the course with a time of 19:09.
For the third year running Kent Gardner, Chief Executive at Evans Randall Investors, the headline sponsor of the event, threw down the gauntlet to other senior property professionals, challenging them to join in the CEO challenge. James King of VTS was the CEO Champion with a time of 37:13. Special congratulations to LandAid’s own CEO, Paul Morrish, and his daughter Charlie, 9, for completing the 5K course in an amazing 46:30.
Joining them this year there were more than 30 LandAid Ambassadors. David Wilkinson of CMS was crowned the LandAid Ambassador Champion with a time of 36:28.
Rivalries were fierce in every age group, and Hermione Mackrill of LandSec was crowned fastest female over 45 with a time of 48:28, whilst Arief Larham of Orion took the title of fastest male in the same category completing the course in 32:37.
Special congratulations also go to Cordelia Batt, Hannah Bryant, Hettie Cust, Anna Gargan and Alice Schorb of Gerald Eve Team 1 who were awarded the Fastest Team prize and to Jorge Mendonca of Grosvenor who raised the most money ahead of the event – £2,245. Congratulations also go out to the winners of our highest fundraising company, the Howard De Walden Estate, who have raised £3,870.
The property industry really showed what it was made of, and thanks to the amazing efforts of all of the runners, LandAid has already raised over £120,000. All donations from this year’s LandAid’s 10K will go directly to projects across the country which are creating safe, secure and affordable housing for young homeless people. Projects like the Cardinal Hume Centre in London, where LandAid’s grant is helping to refurbish a home for 32 young people. The residence will give vulnerable young people 24-hour support on-site, as well as providing English classes and a key support worker for each young person.

Every penny raised today will make a difference to the lives of young homeless people across the county.
