Partner since: 2006

Amount raised in 2018-19: £33,306.88

Mace’s relationship with LandAid began in 2006, and since then they have raised invaluable funds helping vulnerable young people who need a place to call home.

Mace is heavily involved in LandAid’s activities throughout the year, offering support and fundraising in a variety of different ways. The company took part in our Sponsor A Home initiative, raising money which will help Action Homeless create 25 new bed spaces for people who have been street homeless in Leicester.

Mace also funded the pilot of our Young Voices programme. Young Voices aims to promote young people’s voices to the property industry and help raise youth homelessness up the agenda, and the Mace-funded pilot was a collaboration between LandAid, Birmingham charity St Basils and the National Youth Reference Group.

The company hosted an Ambassador Induction Breakfast which helped to recruit 15 new members of the LandAid Ambassador programme. Mace also had four runners in the last LandAid 10K, as well as giving £20,000 towards the LandAid House project.

Mace has donated significant time to charities through LandAid’s Free Property Advice Programme, giving 149 hours of advice to not-for-profits who need it the most, the equivalent of £13,000 in fees.

Mace’s employees are heavily involved in LandAid, too: the company has one LandAid Ambassador, two LandAid Board and Committee members, and Mace’s Chief Executive, Mark Reynolds is a LandAid Trustee.

Mace is an international consultancy and construction company, founded and built on exceptional people, a commitment to service excellence and an entrepreneurial spirit. Find out more.
