14 October 2021 – David Partridge, Chairman of Argent Related, has joined LandAid’s Board of Trustees where he will lead the charity’s work on social investment.

David joins the property industry charity at a crucial time in LandAid’s ambitious new three-year strategy, of which developing social investment is a key stream. He will be working with the LandAid Board and CEO Paul Morrish to help ensure that a stream of social investment funding is available for and injected into youth homelessness accommodation over the coming years.

David is President of the British Property Federation and a Trustee of the UKGBC. He joined Argent in 1990, was appointed Joint Chief Executive in 2006 and Managing Partner of the new Argent LLP in 2012 and became Senior Partner in 2019. He is now Chairman of the Argent Related Partnership.

David recently won Estates Gazette’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to Property Award 2019’. In May 2015, David was awarded NW Insider Property Personality of the Year, and in April 2014, David jointly won the Property Week Personality of the Year Award with Roger Madelin.

Rob Bould, Chair of Trustees, LandAid: “We are delighted to have David join our Board at this exciting and crucial time. Social investment is a key pillar of our strategy and David will be invaluable to us setting this up. Youth homelessness is rising and as an industry we need to find innovative solutions to fund the accommodation needed to solve it, and David’s appointment will enable us to do this. Welcome to the Board!”

David Partridge, Chairman, Argent Related: ““Throughout my career, I have looked to ensure that the places that Argent create “give something back” to society, as well delivering enhanced value for all our stakeholders. Becoming a Trustee of LandAid with a particular focus on all aspects of social investment gives me an opportunity to put this further into practice within such a remarkable charity, which enjoys the huge backing of the whole real estate industry.”
