Well, that was one fantastic LandAid Day - the best ever!
Over £90,000 was raised by fifty-plus companies and thousands of individuals pedalling, treasure-hunting, three-legged running, sweating, baking, sweating-and-baking, more running, eating, wet-sponge-chucking, monopolising, ping-ponging, fairground-gaming, raffling, auctioning, dressing up-ing, dressing-down-ing, guessing-the-baby-ing, guessing-the-pets-people-prefer-ing, quizzing, partying…and, finally, resting.
We now have a brilliant video that showcases some of the incredible lengths people will go to to fundraise for us. Companies featured in the video include Cushman and Wakefield, Grosvenor, GVA, Palmer Capital, Pinsent Masons and Segro.
This week we launched our new Ambassadors' network at a special LandAid Day celebration event hosted by DTZ.
We're aiming to get over 100 people to join the network, and become Ambassadors for LandAid within their own companies. This will help us to cascade our message throughout our partner organisations, and encourage more people to actively support our cause. If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, contact Leah De Silva, Head of Fundraising and Partnerships, today.
We'll be encouraging all our Ambassadors to start making a plan for LandAid Day 2015. So if you work in property and didn't have time to organise anything this year, download our fundraising toolkit.
And remember: whatever you decide to do, your contribution helps us to continue making a real and lasting impact on disadvantaged young lives across the UK. Thank you.
