St Modwen’s relationship with LandAid began in 2012, helping vulnerable young people across the UK to reach their full potential.
St Modwen has sponsored the LandAid Midlands 10K since 2017. In 2018 the race raised more than £24,000 and helped St Basils' renovate 24 one-bed flats and 24 studio apartments for vulnerable young people. 2019’s 10K did even better, raising over £30,000 and helping end youth homelessness in the UK.
In previous years, St Modwen entered four teams into a Cyclone 24-hour velodrome challenge, raising more than £23,000 for LandAid and completing 13,145 velodrome laps, an outstanding 3,286.25km. (the equivalent of cycling Lands End to Johns O’Groats twice and be a third of the way on the third leg too!) One of the event organisers said: ‘St. Modwen had the most teams entered into the challenge, in fact the most any company has ever entered into any of our events! They also raised the most amount of money, again out of any companies or teams who have entered our challenges, in fact they raised nearly half of the overall sum raised at the Derby event.
LandAid can’t wait to see what St Modwen do next and are proud to call them a Strategic Partner.
