About the Organisation
Laleham Park Hub (LPH) is a new charity organisation, with the innovative ambition to build a community café and hub in Laleham Park on the site of the demolished sports pavilion.
Laleham Park is close to Laleham Village and popular with dog walkers, families, fisherman, walkers, cyclists and those taking part in water sports. It is also the home of Laleham Juniors Parkrun. There is a children’s playground and picnic area with benches close by, along with an outside gym and a pay and display car park. In proximity to the hub is Laleham Campsite, a volunteer-run camping club that will also utilise many of their facilities.
They are currently proposing building a community hub on the site, including a café with toilets, changing rooms, showers, and a flexible community space. The community hub aims to support mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing in an outdoor setting. The hub will serve as a place for community support, but also collaborating with local charities and organisations. The building will also be designed with the latest green technology.

The Charity is therefore seeking an objective and neutral Project Manager/ Committee Member to assist the Board with its direction and decision making between all parties involved.
They are seeking a commitment of a few hours per month. They currently operate a monthly committee meeting that would be useful to attend also. This role enables you to be part of the key decision making process of this project and create a legacy for the next generation.
