Apply for free property advice
We make it easy for charities in need of property advice to find talented professionals looking to volunteer their skills
In October, we invited applications from organisations across the UK who provide accommodation for young people who are at risk of being homeless.
They could apply for a grant of up to £75,000 for building work for living accommodation: to renovate existing bed spaces, or create new ones.
We also invited organisations to apply to become a LandAid Charity Partner if they were not ready to apply for a grant, but had ideas for building work in the pipeline. LandAid Charity Partners will be invited to apply for a grant in 2018 (date not yet confirmed).
If your organisation missed this opportunity, please read the Application Guidelines 2017.
If you would have been eligible and interested to apply, please email email@example.com to request a telephone call. We will reply with a suggested time for a phone call discussion in March or April.
We fund work which tackles youth homelessness in the UK. Our grants are awarded to outstanding projects on the ground that work to give young people the shelter and support they deserve.
In autumn 2015, LandAid launched a funding opportunity for organisations converting empty properties into homes for young people who are homeless or at severe risk of becoming so. During 2016 and 2017, we awarded grants to 17 of the empty property applications. Some are now completed and in use by young people, others are currently in development.
These projects will provide a total of 150 beds in 46 renovated properties for young people in housing need.
