Pledge150

This year LandAid is helping the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to celebrate their 150th year by partnering with them on a joint campaign to raise £2.25m for LandAid: Pledge150. The funds raised will fund 150 bed spaces for young people who have experienced homelessness.

In November we launched the campaign at RICS headquarters with HRH Duke of Cambridge.

The campaign is already making a difference and has so far funded four projects, all of which will provide safe, secure and affordable housing for young people who have experienced homelessness. You can find out more about the projects below:

Across the country RICS professionals are raising money to fund more life-changing projects. If you’d like to find out about the projects that will be supported in your local area, please click on the links below:

We encourage everyone working in the land, property and construction sectors to join in with the challenge.
When it comes to fundraising activities and helping to publicise the campaign, the bigger your ideas the better!

As part of the RICS Pledge150 campaign, those working in the built environment may also be given the opportunity to provide pro bono property advice to local charities supporting disadvantaged young people, families and communities, including those experiencing homelessness.

All firms that make a corporate donation to the RICS’ Pledge150 campaign will be highlighted on the organisation’s online pledge wall and will have the opportunity to say what they are actively doing to help end youth homelessness.
