Our free property advice programme

100% of the charities involved said they would recommend LandAid’s Free Property Advice Programme.

Many charities lack the time, expertise and experience needed to manage, maintain and improve their buildings. LandAid's Free Property Advice Programme is here to help.

LandAid arranges for skilled property professionals from our network of supporters to give free property expertise to UK charities supporting disadvantaged young people, families and communities, including those experiencing homelessness. Find out how you can donate your property skills to charity.

Our Free Property Advice Programme has a huge impact. Last year:

  • LandAid brokered free property advice for 37 charity projects from 23 property professionals.
  • The charities who received free property advice saved or gained a total of £1.1m.
  • 200,000 people benefited from the free property advice given.

Our programme offers a wide range of support including:

  • Property strategies
  • Premises searches
  • Negotiating leases and purchases
  • Architectural services (feasibility studies, brief development and options appraisals)
  • Planning advice
  • Building surveys
  • Maintenance/refurbishment plans and outline costs
  • Mentoring through a particular stage of a building project, for example tender evaluations or project management
  • Property legal advice
