Over the next 3 months The Amber Foundation expect to see youth unemployment amongst their client group increase significantly. This will result in even more demand for their service. The Amber Foundation expect to see some young people that have benefitted from their service in the past and left for employment to be referred again.
LandAid's £7,103 grant will provide temporary accommodation for two young, homeless people, access to a counsellor and facilities, as well as food and living expenses. This grant will also help to cover the cost of Amber's programme of support and additional costs of PPE equipment for staff supporting young people with symptoms.
The Amber Foundation helps homeless, unemployed young people move on to positive, independent futures. They provide young people with accommodation, training and support, and give them new life experiences to help them develop independent living skills.
