A newly renovated room for young people

Centrepoint

Manchester

Grant: £51,042

The project

Centrepoint provides accommodation and vital services for young people who are homeless, helping them to become physically and mentally healthy, access education and employment and gain valuable life skills.

LandAid has given a £51,042 grant to enable Centrepoint to renovate three two-bed terraced houses, providing accommodation for six young people who have experienced homelessness.

The impact

The three houses in the project are part of a 10 two-bed house renovation project, which will create accommodation for twenty young people in total.

The young people will be supported by Centrepoint's floating support team, giving them access to support for any tenancy related issues they may face - including support with budgeting, employment and education.

This project will be funded by Pledge150.
