Fat Macy’s service users have been especially affected by COVID-19. They are already vulnerable due to their status as homeless, but they also work in the hospitality industry. Their unique position is doubly affected, and many of them have lost their jobs and are worried about paying their bills.
LandAid’s £10,000 grant will fund more sessions with their life coach per trainee, sessions with a benefits expert and create a small additional grant funding stream to support trainees with financial concerns.
