LandAid is inviting property professionals to step away from the screen during Steptober. We spend more time looking at the screen than ever. Working from home can take its toll, therefore LandAid is encouraging the industry to take time away from the screen, enjoy the fresh air and breathe, all whilst getting their steps up and helping to end youth homelessness.

Last years’ event raised over £117,000 and saw record-breaking number of 1,264 property professionals take steps together to end youth homelessness. Last years’ prizes included: Team with the Highest Step Count Award which was won by TFT’s One Step Beyond’ team who took a staggering 1.69million steps together. They were closely followed by Faithful+Gould’s North -West’ team and Pinsent Masons The Must Beat Tom Johnson Team’ in second and third place, respectively.

Jacqui Allen of TFT also won the award for Top Stepping Individual taking 552,596 steps – an average of 39,000 steps a day.

Paul Morrish, Chief Executive, LandAid: ‘This years’ Steptober event is set to be bigger and better than ever with our headline sponsor Logicor. Last years’ event saw 1,264 property professionals stepping to end youth homelessness and walk more than 166 million steps over two weeks. This year we are looking forward to seeing those different sectors of the property industry take part and join our mission to end youth homelessness.’

Michael Slattery, CEO, Logicor: ‘LandAid’s mission to unite the property industry to end youth homelessness is as vital now as ever.
