Coatham House Projects – COVID-19 Emergency Fund

Coatham House Projects offers temporary supported housing to young people aged 16 to 24 years of age. This includes young people that are no longer able to live at home due to family breakdown, drug and/or alcohol addiction, abusive relationships or leaving care.

Cost of the project

£10,000

Location

Redcar, UK

As a result of isolation measures, Coatham’s clients were struggling. COVID-19 had a huge impact on their mental and physical wellbeing, and Coatham’s staff faced challenges in regards to the increasing needs of its young people.

LandAid’s £10,000 grant helped to cover increased staff costs to ensure Coatham House Projects could continue to deliver its services. These funds also provided food, toiletries and PPE to ensure the health and safety of their staff and young people.
