LandAid’s £25,000 grant is funding the charity’s renovation of a two-bed long-term empty property in the East Cleveland area, to bring it back into use as safe, warm accommodation for young people. Over a five-year period, the project is expected to house up to 10 young people.

The young tenants will be fully supported by a Tenancy Support Worker, who will provide guidance and support on lifestyle skills, finances and health and well-being to prepare them for independent living.
