COVID-19 really impacted the mental health of the young people Manchester Settlement supports. Its key concern was the loneliness, poor mood and potential depression of its residents.

Phase 1

LandAid’s £3,696 grant funded 14 internet packages for 12 months. This was a vital service, as it kept its young people connected with their support networks.

Phase 2

This £17,400 phase two grant enabled Manchester Settlement to add an additional toilet and washing facilities into 3 shared houses such that there was less pressure upon the single bathrooms in each property.
