YMCA Norfolk – COVID-19 Emergency Fund

YMCA Norfolk’s mission is to transform young lives across the county of Norfolk. It has been active in its community for over 160 years and in the past year alone have impacted over 14,000 children, young people and their families.

As a result of COVID-19, YMCA Norfolk’s young people’s anxieties had been heightened. They struggled to maintain positive relationships and struggled with boredom due to isolation.

LandAid’s £8,748 grant covered the costs of additional lunches for 38 young people that were needed to maintain social distancing and the safety of YMCA Norfolk’s young people for 12 weeks.
