YMCA North Tyneside’s frontline work was and will continue to be affected by COVID-19. It affected those who come and go from its services as well as those individuals who depend on it as a lifeline and a place to call home.

Phase 1

LandAid’s £9.862 grant covered extra staff costs to ensure they can continue to deliver their invaluable services to their young people. This also funded counselling services to help vulnerable young people.

Phase 2

LandAid’s £8390 phase two grant was used to modernise and make fit an area of YMCA North Tyneside’s supported accommodation space and provide new IT equipment for young people. It also helped to upgrade the supported accommodation IT.
