16 years of partnership – the impact that SEGRO has made with LandAid

SEGRO has supported LandAid since 2005. During that time they’ve funded four amazing projects, all of which now house young homeless people – giving them a safe, secure and affordable home to go onto a brighter future.

Here Neil Impiazzi, SEGRO’s Partnership Development Director, tells us a little bit about why they support LandAid and the new film we are launching today:

‘Our relationship with LandAid is something that we are very proud of. Over the years we have worked together on a number of initiatives that support their mission to eradicate youth homelessness.

Amongst these initiatives include projects that have delivered additional bedroom, amenity and training spaces at four temporary homes, as well as essential life-changing services that are critical to improving the lives of many young people.

The projects – St Basils in Birmingham, Slough YMCA, Habitat for Humanity in Barking and most recently Look Ahead in Ealing – not only provide a safe environment, care and help for vulnerable young people who desperately need it but also crucial training and development opportunities, essential to live a happy and fulfilled life. Eradicating homelessness can only be achieved by doing both: providing a permanent home and the confidence, support and skills required that enable them to get a job and fulfil their potential

And we are looking forward to doing more with our partnership with LandAid – as we further develop collaborative schemes that will provide even more young homeless people with routes into employment with SEGRO, our customers and our suppliers.

It makes me incredibly proud to know that the company I work for, SEGRO, literally improves the lives of so many vulnerable young people who live in our communities.’
