Dallaglio lifts the curtain on 45th Surveyors Sevens

England rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio lifted the curtain on the National Surveyors Rugby Sevens tournament at a launch party last Wednesday.

Now in its 45th year, the iconic industry event brings teams from across the property world together for an almighty scrum-down. Aside from the competition on the pitch, the brilliant support from the side-lines, and the often grizzly weather, the tournament is well known for its strong charitable arm. Having raised £27,000 for LandAid last year, the Sevens committee has selected our organisation once again as its official charity partner.

Keen to outdo 2014’s fantastic fundraising total, the committee rallied the teams into action at Wednesday’s launch hosted by CBRE. Lawrence Dallaglio too urged the property professionals to come up with innovative and exciting ideas to generate funds for LandAid. The former Wasps star also drew teams out of the cup he lifted as a surveyor back in 1995.

We at LandAid are looking forward to our partnership with the National Surveyors Rugby Sevens going from strength to strength. And on May 17th, whilst you won’t find us on the pitch, we’ll be out in force supporting this super event. Whatever the weather.
