2016 presented quite a few challenges for the property industry, but in spite of everything, they showed an incredible energy and enthusiasm for helping vulnerable young people. Here’s our list of 10 amazing things LandAid achieved with your help:
Sadiq Khan, Zac Goldsmith and the other leading London Mayoral candidates battled it out in front of 350 property professionals in our annual LandAid Debate. The Mayoral candidates were united in tackling the capital’s homelessness crisis, with Khan calling it a scar on London’.

800 property professionals raced around Clapham Common in the new LandAid 10K, raising over £80,000 to help protect young people from homelessness.
Our LandAid Taxi, the world’s first colour-in cab’, took to London’s streets to bring a splash of colour and raise awareness of our work to tackle youth homelessness. The launch was covered by the Evening Standard.
200 property daredevils battled stormy conditions to conquer the Broadgate Tower in an epic TowerAthlon. They raised over £40,000 to help create new accommodation in the City for 146 young people who would otherwise be homeless.
Over 60 property companies across the UK took part in this year’s futuristic LandAid Day. Highlights included fast and furious space hopper races, a cycling to the moon challenge and a terrifying clash with zombies using virtual reality headsets.
We launched our Impact Report 2015/16, showing we helped over 7,000 young people achieve brighter futures in the past year. We also chose to mark the occasion with our first Thank You Day, where we thanked thousands of our supporters for helping us make such an impact.

Our Christmas Card Alternative Campaign raised £32,000 for young homeless people, helping to give them a happier, safer Christmas and vital support for the future.
