Ace of Clubs – COVID-19 Emergency Fund

Cost of the project

£10,000

Location

London, UK

With the closure of other centres and food outlets as a result of COVID-19, those who are young and homeless had limited access to food. The Ace of Clubs takeaway food service proved highly popular and was in much needed demand.

LandAid’s £10,000 grant was used to continue Ace of Clubs’ takeaway service for another five months, providing hot food and access to a foodbank for people who desperately needed it. The grant helped to provide 12,000 meals over the five-month period.
