LandAid awarded a grant of £1,608 to Contact Hostel to support the renovation of its seven-bed hostel for young women.
The impact
The grant upgraded the hot water system in the hostel, providing the seven residents with vastly improved plumbing. It will also save Contact Hostel £500 per year, freeing up funds to spend on improving its services, which range from education to training in life skills for the young women.
