The Impact Hub is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to accelerate entrepreneurial action that benefits people and planet.

They have helped hundreds of social enterprises by providing an incubation hub which offers a flexible workplace community for its members.

In 2023 due to expansion, they successfully secured a new space within a British Land building and required a tenant surveyor to help them comply with regulations, assure the landlord managed fit-out of their space was being done in their best interests and to a high standard.

However, due to the high costs associated with the nature of these services they turned to the LandAid Pro Bono Programme for support.

The LandAid Pro Bono team were able to match their request with TFT Consultants who provided a Tenant Surveyor to oversee the fit out of the new space ensuring it matched the agreed specification and budget. TFT have provided free ongoing advice throughout the construction phase totalling a market value of £15,000 to a fee-paying client.

Jay, Minnie and TFT have provided great support on our fit out project, keeping the landlord's project team on their toes and ensuring a great outcome for Impact Hub, on time and on budget! Thanks guys! Special thanks to Gareth and Bex from the LAndAid Pro Bono Team for their persistence and tenacity in finding us the pro bono support we needed for this. It was a protracted search for a match, but they never gave up and TFT delivered superbly for us - the second time they have supported us via LandAid.

We were delighted to work with LandAid and Impact Hub for this project. It has been a great experience – we knew the building and British Land, the landlord undertaking the fit-out works, and were excited to be involved and helping with this amazing ESG success story. Not only does having Impact Hub create a great social inclusion space for entrepreneurs and innovators, but it is also in a truly sustainable building which has reused many of the existing components, including the facades, as part of the recent significant refurbishment of the property. We have a long affiliation with LandAid and love working with them - they connect us to amazing charities, are fun and knowledgeable, and they enable us to give something back.
