New Horizon Youth Centre has emergency hotels and other temporary accommodation available in order to support their young people. It is also having to redeploy 10 of its frontline team to work in these hotels and hostels as the capacity of other organisations has been increasingly stretched.
LandAid’s £10,000 grant helped to ensure New Horizon’s staff could continue to support its young people in the most efficient way whilst working remotely. This grant covered the costs of upgrading their technology and includes the provision of personal protection equipment.
