YMCA deliver a range of programmes and services that tackle the issues facing local people and ensure that there are opportunities for young people throughout our work, from apprentices to work experience and childcare to youth work. They work with all ages, faiths and backgrounds, as part of a global network of 14,000 YMCAs. They have served the communities in Hertfordshire for 135 years and reach 1000’s of people each day. One YMCA also believe that every young person should have a safe place to stay.

They now have the opportunity to convert a large property, that once bought up to standard, would accommodate 6 young people in housing need. Following on from a successful renovation of a HMO in Luton, with help from this LandAid Capital grant, they hope to create yet another housing solution.
