LandAid’s £30,000 grant will enable them to convert a workshop into a two-bed house for young people who have come through the charity’s drug and alcohol rehab services. This will be the charity’s first accommodation specifically for young people.
The charity will work with the young people to develop living skills and work readiness, through a variety of projects including furniture restoration, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, catering and retail training.
