COVID-19 had a considerable impact on the outreach and residential services of The Wallich. Services were adapted to ensure young people were kept safe and critical services are able to continue. The Wallich anticipated that the changes would remain in place.
LandAid’s £9,144 grant funded additional staffing costs to provide emergency cover at projects where they are staff shortages due to COVID-19. This also covered PPE to equip 350 staff as well as weekly deep cleans, particularly in projects where there had been confirmed cases of COVID-19.
