As a result of COVID-19, Young Devon saw an increased demand for bed spaces. It also had reports of more young people experienced increased levels of anxiety and poorer mental health as a result of the crisis.
LandAid’s £9,800 grant provided cleaning and PPE products for 20 houses, and cover increased staff costs due to a higher demand in service. These funds also provided additional IT equipment to better manage remote working, as well as a fund for young people who were in need of housing support and food.
