LandAid has awarded Young Devon a £17,050 grant to help fund a two-part project:
The grant will create a self-contained one-bed training flat within an existing 4-bed supported house in Ilfracombe. Young people will benefit from on-site support staff and the space to develop skills to equip them for independent living.
It will also create four self-contained one-bed “pods” in a new-build house in Totnes, for a particularly vulnerable group of young people who are unable to cope in a shared living environment.
